I got a message in a bottle It says I'm coming home I can't stand another second On this island all alone It says I've got to see you I've got to see your face I don't think I can stay here On this deserted place It says the sun has burnt me The sun has burnt my skin And when I get home darlin I only hope that you let me in These waves they keep on crashing Against my island shore And when I think it's over Well the ocean just brings me more I've got a message in a bottle It says I'm coming home

I wanna find the girl with the life in her eyes cause every time she looks at me I get so hypnotized oh yeah But all I see's the man with the money on his mind and everytime I look at him I wanna run and hide oh yeah Running in these circles got me wasting my time every time I think I get ahead I get a little further behind My momma told me once and I believed her when she said that you gotta have a screw loose if you wanna keep your head on straight Baby if you come with me, we'll make our own paradise And we can sail the sea, you don't have to think twice And if you come with me, there's just one thing I advise Don't lose that life in your eyes The longer that I wait I wanna go more and more but the man inside the box says we're going to war oh no The question's getting harder and the answer's coming slow makes it harder to forget just how little I know I'm feeling kind shallow and it's getting pretty deep my alarm clock doesn't seem to shake me out of my sleep The waves are getting bigger and the winds are getting strong think we better take a chance before we realize we've waited too long Baby if you come with me, we'll make our own paradise And we can sail the sea, you don't have to think twice And if you come with me, there's just one thing I advise Don't lose that life in your eyes I wanna find the girl with the life in her eyes cause everytime she looks at me I get so hypnotized All I see's the man with the money on his mind and everytime I look at him I wanna run and hide Running in these circles got me wastin my time cause every time I think I get ahead I really get behind I wanna find the girl with the life in her eyes cause every time I see her man I get so hypnotized Baby if you come with me, we'll make our own paradise And we can sail the sea, you don't have to think twice And if you come with me, there's just one thing I advise Don't lose that life in your eyes Baby If you come with me We can sail the see There's just one thing I advise Don't lose that life in your eyes

Take My Time 03:13
I said that's such a pretty hat that you've got up on your head But I wonder just how many you wear And I know it's impolite but I just can't help my eyes So please forgive me if I stare And I could wait all night but you know I'd rather not So if you just come and talk to me Then we could speed this thing along but if you prefer Then we can do it the long way, see I'm gonna take my time And I'm gonna fall in line And I'm gonna wait so patiently Until you're mine And now I'm runnin round the block cause you got me doing laps But you know that's fine with me Your wish is my command like a genie in a bottle But I'd rather not be set free So tell me what to do should I stay or should I go Because I heard there's trouble either way But trouble I can take and this is no mistake So that's a price I'm willing to pay I'm gonna take my time And I'm gonna fall in line And I'm gonna wait so patiently Until you're mine

I know you'd probably like to hear a song about how pretty you are You'd love to hear some nice metaphors about how your eyes are like stars You know I'd really love to write that song but I just don't have the words To put down on paper, how much you are really worth So here's the song I with I could write You know I tried my best Stayed up all day and all night But the words wouldn't come from the pen That could do justice to you If I were Frost of Shakespeare you know I'd have a hard time And Lord knows I'm neither, no I'm just a regular guy So please excuse this clumsy, bumbling melody I did my best to write this song so that you could maybe see So here's the song I with I could write You know I tried my best Stayed up all day and all night But the words wouldn't come from the pen That could do... So here's the song I with I could write You know I tried my best Stayed up all day and all night But the words wouldn't come from the pen That could do justice to you

All the people in the street that I see seem to have their eyes directly on me And I'm looking up at the sky I got my head in the clouds cause it's not as loud up here and that's just fine so Don't ask why Plus the plans that we make never seem to quite work out anyway so Tell me why should I try Well I guess that I should but I can't and I would but I ran so Bye bye And all I need is a little piece of mind Cause I don't want to be left behind The way I see it it is never quite as easy as they Would have you believe Punch in every day cause you gotta have a way to pay and you know That nothing is free You might think I'm a little insane but I think you're the one with the stranger brain so Would you please Step back and look at your life cause if you did that than I think you just might See what I mean And all I need is a little piece of mind Cause I don't want to be left behind, no Al I need is a little piece of mind Cause I don't want to be left behind All I need is a little piece of mind Cause I don't want to be left behind

You said you'd never turn around You're gone for good not going down with me You're off to bigger and better things But I bet you lie awake at night The city lights are much too bright and you You miss the starlight's gentle glow And I know this isn't quite what you had in mind When you turned and left it all behind And I'd love nothing more than to even the score So if you're coming home please don't let me know Do you like your friends and your apartment? Everything shiny and new I hope I'm wrong and you really do It's just a little hard to understand You running through the concrete jungle now I never thought we would leave this town I know this isn't quite what you had in mind When you turned and left it all behind And I'd love nothing more than to even the score So if you're coming home please don't let me know The way it was the way we were Is all gone now And we can dream just as much as we like But I know this isn't quite what you had in mind When you turned and left it all behind And I'd love nothing more than to even the score So if you're coming home please don't let me know I know this isn't quite what you had in mind When you turned and left it all behind

Thank You 03:39
I want to ask you So many things I'd like to tell you Everything Wish I could be there When you need me Wish I could take you Any place you'd like to be Wish I could see you Just one more day Because there's one thing I have to say I'd like to thank you For everything You did for me But it's too late

Extro 01:33

about

This is a collection of songs I have written and/or recorded over the past several years. I originally had no real plan or intention on what I was ever going to do with these songs, just did it for fun. All of a sudden I found myself with nearly enough songs to put together an album. So after a few more months of recording, plus planning, licensing, and designing, here it is!

Free download, or physical CD available for just $1.00.
